Krewe of Salacia's Inaugural debut was such a hit; we are still all lit up
and lighting the sky 6 Years Later with tons of surprising responses from our sea of sensational spectators and they all want to join in on some Salacia Krewe fun.
HOW WE ROLL
EVERYONE MUST BE 21 & UP TO BE A PART OF ALL THINGS KREWE OF SALACIA.

Krewe of Salacia Membership Overview
1. All KOS Members are required to decorate a minimum of 10 KOS Bikini Top throws (reference KOS Membership Packet for more details). Will we have get-togethers to decorate KOS Bikini Top throws for members only.
2. A week before the Neptune parade, the Salacia Krewe will gather to take individual member pictures with their decorated KOS Bikini Top throws.
3. The weekend we ride (Fri. & Sat.), we host a KOS Queen's Dinner the night before the parade; a KOS Queen's Brunch the morning of the Neptune parade, after everyone is shuttled to our KOS float in the parade line up to prepare for the start of Neptune parade.
4. All KOS Members are required to purchase Krewe of Salacia Specialty throws, which can be ordered here.
5. All KOS Members are required to order the shoe style we designate with the KOS costume.
6. All KOS Members have the option to aquire designated raincoats or coats that we allow with KOS costume. (ONLY designated shoe style & coats are allowed.)

A LIL BIT FOR ALL...
Throughout the year we offer optional opportunities to get engaged with KOS Members and our KOS Marching Club. Everyone will have the chance to join us at impromptu gatherings, the KOS Christmas party and a multitude of community fund-raisers.
Krewe of Salacia is dedicated to the community and committed to raising funds for specific causes aligned with our non-profit mission. Organizations we have in the works to support include Gulf Coast Center for Non-Violence; Center to Prevent Child Abuse; CASA; Institute for Marine Mammal Studies, and the Jackson County Animal Shelter, to name a few. The reference above are all optional, and attendance is not required by KOS members.
Krewe of Salacia MEMBERSHIP AGREEMENT
KOS 2025 MEMBERSHIP
By filling out this application I, the undersigned, being of full legal majority do hereby submit this application
to the Krewe of Salacia (hereafter “Krewe”) for 2025 membership. Upon submission of this application,
a deposit towards my dues assessment ($75 minimum) is required and $250 deposit towards my throw package.
If accepted, I agree to be bound by the bylaws of the Krewe, the laws of the State of Mississippi & applicable
county and/or municipal laws. In addition, I agree and affirm that no objects may be manufactured, imprinted, marked, etc. by me or my agent, utilizing the organizational name, crest, logo, etc. in any form whatsoever, nor may objects be marked anywhere or offered to any member in competition with objects sold by the Krewe, without expressed, written permission of the Krewe Founder.
I hereby acknowledge and agree to pay full membership dues assessment of $450.00 once granted full membership
status by November 15 of Every Year and purchase at least the minimum required throw package set up by the Krewe of Salacia. I understand that Salacia Throw Packages are the ONLY throws allowed to be thrown from the float, no outside throws will be allowed without express permission given by the Krewe Founder.
• A non refundable minimum deposit of $75 is required before membership is granted.
& a deposit of $250 towards your throw package.
• Membership non refundable dues assessments may be paid all at once or can be set up on a auto draft and paid in installments.
• All dues Must Be Paid by November 15 of every year.
KOS 2025 NON-RIDING MEMBERSHIP
By filling out this application I, the undersigned, being of full legal majority do hereby submit this application to the Krewe of Salacia (hereafter “Krewe”) for 2025 membership. Upon submission of this application, a $200 payment is required. If accepted, I agree to be bound by the bylaws of the Krewe, the laws of the State of Mississippi & applicable county and/or municipal laws. In addition, I agree and affirm that no objects may be manufactured, imprinted, marked, etc. by me or my agent, utilizing the organizational name, crest, logo, etc. in any form whatsoever, nor may objects be marked anywhere or offered to any member in competition with objects sold by the Krewe, without expressed, written permission of the Krewe Founder. I hereby acknowledge and agree to pay full membership of $200.00 once granted full non-riding membership status.
• Non-Riding Membership is non refundable.
KOS 2025 MARCHING CLUB
By filling out this form it stands as evidence that you agree to the Parade Rules and will abide by those rules set forth by the Krewe of Salacia, Krewe of Neptune and local law enforcement. Further, your submission of this application indicates that you do hereby hold The Krewe of Salacia, the Krewe of Neptune harmless, and indemnify them for any property damages and/or bodily injuries sustained while in-route to, during.or in·route from the parade.
This agreement to indemnify also includes any attorney fees and expenses for defending any claim, as well as any damages awarded for that claim.
The undersign agrees that participation in the Krewe of Salacia and Krewe of Neptune parade that you do hereby release the Krewe of Salacia and Krewe of Neptune from any claim of property damage and/or bodily injuries in·route to, during, or in-route from the parade.
Members for the Krewe of Salacia Marching Club will be provided with a costume, mask, wig. KOS Marching Club members will also be required to carry lighted sea creatures, wear our lighted angel wings, assigned to carry the marching banner during the parade. Costumes must be worn at all times. Marching Club Members are subject to removal from the parade if costume, mask, or wig is removed during any part of the parade. Marching Club Members must work together to make sure Krewe of Salacia's banner and lighted image are showcased during the parade at all times.
• Marching Club Membership is non refundable.

1. Fill out the following Krewe of Salacia Membership Application. (Make sure to scroll down and choose which throw package # you would like to select and note that in your application. Balance of your throw package chosen will be divided and added to the monthly payment plan you choose.)
